Dominique Strauss-Kahn's DNA samples found on hotel housekeeper's clothes

Evidence from the work clothes of a hotel housekeeper matched DNA samples taken from IMF ex-chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who has been charged with sexually assaulting her, a person briefed on the matter said Monday, “San Francisco Chronicle” writes.

The test results were consistent with what law enforcement officials have said about the account provided by the woman, whose name has not been released because of the nature of the alleged attack.

They are also consistent with what Strauss-Kahn's lawyers have suggested would be his defense - that a sexual encounter had indeed occurred when she came to clean his room on Saturday May 14, but was consensual.

But he mail his friends he is a fair man.
